Cody Hogan
Cody Hogan is an entrepreneur, music industry partner, and co-founder of Rock Hill Recording. Alongside his wife, Hailey Hogan, he also co-founded CH Lonestar Promo, growing what started as a garage operation into one of the nation’s leading music merchandise and manufacturing companies, serving artists and brands across the country.
Over the past eight years, Cody has worked alongside hundreds of independent artists, helping them build sustainable careers through merchandise, vinyl and CD manufacturing, branding, fulfillment, and creative strategy. Those relationships gave him a firsthand look at the challenges artists face—not just after they release music, but while they’re creating it.
That experience inspired the next chapter: Rock Hill Recording.
Together with producer and engineer Hunter Cassell, Cody helped create Rock Hill as more than a recording studio. Their vision was to build a place where artists feel inspired from the moment they walk through the door—a space where creativity comes first, collaboration is encouraged, and every project receives the attention it deserves.
As Managing Partner, Cody oversees the business development, artist relations, marketing, and long-term vision of Rock Hill Recording. His focus is creating opportunities for artists while building an environment where great music, meaningful relationships, and lasting careers can grow together.
Cody believes the best records are made when artists feel comfortable, inspired, and genuinely supported. Whether it’s a first single or a full-length album, his goal is simple: help every artist create music they’ll be proud of for years to come.
Born and raised in San Angelo, Texas, Hunter Cassell began his musical journey at the age of six, playing in churches after being inspired by the worship musicians around him. During high school, he completed four years of dual-credit audio/video production courses, laying the foundation for his passion for recording and music production.
After briefly stepping away from music to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry, he returned to begin touring with Texas artists, building his reputation and skill set as a touring guitarist and keyboardist
Throughout his touring career, Hunter dedicated much of his time and resources to collecting the gear and developing the skills needed to build a recording studio of his own. After outgrowing the studio setup in his home in Stephenville, Texas, he moved the growing collection to a new space in Oak Point, Texas.
When the studio once again surpassed the limits of its surroundings, Hunter began searching for a commercial space where he could bring the vision together into a fully functioning recording studio. This led to a partnership with his friend Cody Hogan to create a commercial recording space in North Texas.
